All prospects who fit the HF prospect criteria are included.

ELIGIBILITY
-In his Age-24 season, or younger, with fewer than 65 NHL games played for a skater (or 45 games for a goalie).

-If signed out of Europe or the NCAA at age 22 or older, fewer than 65 (skaters) or 45 (goalies) NHL games within three years of signing.

RULES
Each poll runs 24 hours and is public. Vote for your choice and nominate a prospect from the list below to replace that player on the subsequent poll.

If there is a tie in the Top 10, there will be a run-off and the losing prospect will be returned to the pool for the next vote. Outside the Top 10, the tie will hold, the two highest Adds will be added and we'll move on.

PROSPECT RANKINGS
In the past, we've also done skater-only and goalie-only threads, as well as aggregate-type of rankings. If someone is interested, they are welcome to inherit that responsibility.

Fitz.

I think our prospect pool depth is better than people give it credit for.

Having 2/3 following guys outside the top-20 is pretty impressive:

Budik - Defender who went PPG in the WHL for a long stretch at the end of his junior career

Weissbach - Named to the Big10 All-Freshman team after a great season

Fitzgerald - Won top defensive defenseman honours this year

Laaksonen.

He's recently moved up to the 1st pair for Ives, playing 22 minutes per game....

No one on this remainder list has anywhere near the potential/ceiling that Laaksonen has....

I've only seen him twice this spring and he's intriguing as heck. I just don't know where to put him yet.

Same... his skating is legit, and his game is exactly what everyone is looking for in today's game... Total boom or bust prospect IMO. But the boom factor, is higher than any of these other guys

He's packed on a lot of height/weight in the last year+.... If he adjusts, and continues his development path, he could be a player in a 3-4 years. He's definitely someone I'm looking forward to seeing at next years dev camp.

At this stage of the voting, I'll take the guy who has a 10% chance at being a top pair/40 point defensemen and an 80% chance of being a complete bust.... over the guys with a 50% chance of being NHL 4th liners, and almost 0% chance of top line/pair guys....

I agree. It can be argued that he has one of the highest ceilings amongst all the prospects. If he pans out our future on the defensive side looks bright with Risto, Guhle, Borgen, etc.

I'm not sure why, since his late-season push and overall game is at least a cut above Stephens. I suppose they may be thinking they need the contract flexibility.

They need the D... lol

Buffalo: Dahlin, Risto, Scandella, Bogo, McCabe, Beaulieu, Nelson
Rochester: Tennyson, Fedun, Borgen
Cinci: Stephens, Martin

I'd rather not have SPC's 2 tears down. I posted something in the Roster thread about it. They need to go.

I don't know what this means.

edit: oh like having guys down in Cinci ? yea agreed. What a waste.

Yeah, sorry, voice to text fail #2 of the morning. I was getting coffee and did not proof it.

They can't afford to have three or four SPC's in the ECHL.
