Sportsnet changing the ads on boards

Don't know if anybody noticed but sportsnet is changing the ads on the boards when they show the wide shot...u can see the actual ads on the boards when they change the camera angles..

They change ever couple seconds at times and the font is annoying. Sometimes they are a massive font and other times very colorful so every player on the ice blends in with the boards. Also when you get a close up they glitch and stick to players. Worst ad placement I've ever seen. Is this a rogers (sn) thing only?

I do NOT like it at all. Too intrusive.

Are they showing ads on the glass behind the net ? But I prefer this over covering the jerseys in ads like some euro teams do

If they do those ads long enough, at some point you won't even notice them. I'm sure when they first put static ads on the boards people said it was distraction. Now you only notice when they're not there if you watch old games.

The ads themselves are not a distraction. As the camera moves, it's that the digital ones are blurry and pixelated, and it's as if you are being drawn in to a 3D movie (those give me headaches). The static ads are infinitely better on the eyes, while with these you are more drawn in to try and focus the ads properly.

It sounds like you guys are hot and bothered about it. I suggest cooling down with a refreshing Gatorade. Don't have a car to go buy Gatorade? Consider purchasing a Honda -- I've heard very good things.
