They're gonna be in tough to replace the offence they're losing. Roulette and Bertholet combined for 179 points with 69 goals, which is 25.9% of the goals they scored last year.

They've got a high-end rookie in Mathis Preston, but how much are they banking on him to produce? I wouldn't be shocked if Catton got a 9-game look in the NHL, depending who drafts him. That could leave Spokane without him until November-ish. Then he's definitely going to play at World Juniors this year, so there's another 7~ games without him. By the time the trade deadline rolls around they might have only gotten like 15 games out of him.

If Catton continues on his current trajectory, I'd say there's little to no chance he plays in the WHL at 19, so it might be best for Spokane to move him.
