Hopefully this time they get someone other than Big Rig or Killorn to come on.

I like both of those guys but a fresh face after the cup win would be nice.

I do get the impression that they have already peaked at this point

Me too. Going to 1 show per week really made me tune out. They're talking about stuff from 4-5 days ago which has already been beaten into the ground. The episodes are WAY too long. They ask the same questions/go in the same direction for every interview they have. I actually think the guys on the show are good (ok Grinelli tries WAY too hard at times to be cool/edgy), but the new format has killed it for me.

Got about halfway through the Cooper interview on my way home. So far RA has barely said a word after the first couple minutes which is great.

Cool to hear JC's story. I remember reading a while back that he had a law background but its been interesting to hear his step-by-step journey. Seems like a really humble and down to earth guy.

I know this thread is about Spittin' Chicklets, but I just wanted to mention how much I dislike the live-stream / video of the barstool guys all sitting around watching the games and reacting to everything. I don't know who is consuming that content, but to me it couldn't be more un-appealing. I get that it probably ties into the gambling stuff, but I don't know anyone who is interested in watching that trash.

After being a listener since the beginning, I gave up when the shift to one per week happened.

If you're going to have one long episode, have a spot in the middle of the podcast saying "we've reached the halfway point of the episode so if you'd like to save it for another time, stop now." Similar to how Pardon My Take does for the week of Thanksgiving if you have to work Black Friday.

One the Barstool guys' (believe its the one who films the pizza reviews Portnoy does) dad owns the restaurant they did it at in Long Island. So probably just a reason to give him free marketing. I'd imagine thats one of the factors.

But yea, I didn't tune in and was only aware of it by the posts they made abut it showing short clips.

 why am I not surprised, they seem to like their close circle of guests.
Lol I definitely agree that a fresh face or two
would have been nice. You gotta think they’re going to try to get Kucherov on there soon.

I think with him the language barrier could be an issue. Not saying his English is awful, but it could come out unclear in podcast form. Would be a blast though if they did it.

You need them to tell you to save some of the podcast for later? Lol

The podcasts are just way too long and not frequent enough anymore. 3 and a half hours is too much. And once per week doesn't work in hockey when there are so many games and events happening in between. Need to go back to twice per week and make the episodes no more than 2 hours.

Definitely trending in the wrong direction with the format. Don't need two 90 minute interviews per week.

Would much, much rather two episodes per week @ 1hr each.

They're always late to talk about the news at this point.

They’ve been on autopilot for a while now. Whit seems like he’s miserable and only there to keep RA and Grinelli relevant. I give Whitney another year until he’s gone. Biz has about 5 other jobs so he’ll survive.

RA is a stoner who just sort of fell into this, believes he’s the star of the show and smartest guy in the room. He’s become completely insufferable.

The podcast has become all about the livestream so people can watch them watch hockey, terrible content.

I can’t wait for the guys to discuss all the UFA signings today….next week

Care to elaborate on the "star of the show" comment? Odd assumption to make as he never flaunts his own ego and if he believes he is the star, so be it. He started the podcast.

Great show this week. Both guests had good stories and I have a new hot dog place to hit next trip to Montreal.

Love how Biz cannot be around Doan without referencing Doan's giant hog. Doan just evades and moves on.
