Sadie Sink is confirmed to be in this and despite rumors that she'd been cast as Jean Grey in the MCU, she's apparently playing Mary Jane Watson (according to Jeff Sneider).

No, which came as a surprise to me. It was announced on Monday at CinemaCon in Vegas during Sony's presentation.
Yeah I just assumed it was... I guess it was announced yesterday then so it makes more sense but I only saw anything about it today and was just thinking anything announced today was fake lol.
Given their track record, Sony's opinions on the Marvel franchise aren't worth the toilet paper they're wiped on.

According to some rumors they want it all wibbley wobbley timey wimey, meaning lots of time travel/multiverse stuff. Supposedly Feige in favor a of a more grounded, possibly setting up Kingpin being seen, since mayor Fisk referenced Spider-Man in DD: Björn Again.
The spiderverse stuff in No Way Home was fun and I'd love to see a conclusion to the animated Spiderverse trilogy but after that I hope they're done with all the high Sci fi bullshit for a good long time.

The title suggests it’s a more grounded thing which makes sense given the ending of No Way Home
But given it’s between the two Avenger movies I have a hard time believe it won’t be related. So I won’t be surprised if this is in the middle of the fallout of Doomsday.
At the same time I think it’s sensible that they do a more grounded Spider-Man movie and then at the end I’m as like a post credit, drop him into the fallout of Doomsday or something. Kinda like Ant Man and the Wasp.
