Yes. I saw the crosscheck on the replay. They had a good view of it. Shouldn't have been that hard to see.

Hajek out in final minute is kind of cool.. trying to get a Euro career going and being trusted in his 2nd game in final minute. FTR.. normally I'd say the D core is shit as it is Extraliga but Pardubice has a good team.. a very good team with good players. They are the exception and not the norm this season. Hope it goes well for Hajek and he becomes a solid Euro pro that plays heavy minutes and all situations like he was meant to be.

Well, undefeated. Last year we had a team in the finals and it'd be nice to go back to back. Lots of hockey left to play.

Still, great coach (a prick himself). 2 strong goalies. Some good players including guys that were sort of in the NHL as recently as last season (Sedlak, Hajek and Kaut all got games). I do think Sedlak could still be an NHLer. I cheered hard for Kaut but it didn't end well. Curious how his career pans out.

Terrible officiaoting in Canada game too. Swiss goal should count but there should have been a penalty on the Swiss for hitting the goaltender.

Mark Lemelin is actually a former NHL ref and a very good one. Still got the boot just because he was never a hockey pro himself. Lemelin was refing the final of the olympics as well.
The Canadian player pushed him in. The Davos player did well to only bump as little as he did.
He was given a slight push but he picked up speed and ran over the goaltender.

This is a great game! Much better than the WJ's today!
Loved the Benn story.. saw his brother play in the Olympics and is so happy to wear the C for Canada.

Whenever Ambühl scores you know that game is as far away from junior hockey as it gets, gotta like that guy lol and yes it's an entertaining game for sure

Kalpa lost both games as expected, Finnish league is weak. But Frölunda wtf? An attitude problem?

Canada does Canada things as usual in a do or die game, 2-0 5mins in, it's really quite impressing, I guess they literally could take any 20 guys playing pro hockey and they gonna perform well wearing that jersey (well last year seems to be the exception to this rule)
