Kyper is still concussed. He probably still thinks he has 12 fingers. I wouldn't say he is a reliable source.

I believe SDPN also said Max is pretty much done, his agent does stuff over there. But maybe they were talking about regular season. But I don’t think he’s back tbh. It sounds like it’s multiple injuries, not just the quad.

I liked what he was bringing before the injury - smart plays, solid skill, reasonably physical, and not as slow as I was fearing. If he can get healthy and play like that again, he’s for sure got a spot on the team IMO. If he’s not healthy, then obviously not.

Since the Leafs have disclosed nothing about his injury, no fans really know if he’ll be back this year or not

Hopefully he’s in the lineup for the playoffs, otherwise playing 37 games when you get your 35 games played bonus we’re on the hook for next year looks a little funny.

I hope he can come back for playoffs BUT I have heard his Achilles and knee issues have him in pretty bad shape .. maybe RETIREMENT .. he was a great warrior for us

He's definitely playing again, question is how many game consistently can he play in without getting hurt again.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pacioretty goes in for Holmberg in the top 6 as soon as he's ready to come back.
