Nashville playing themselves out of a top 3 pick is so typical. I have never been so done with a team as I am for this franchise. It's hard to even justify dumping any more of my money into a team that don't know how to do the right thing. I need trotz to waive me so I can be picked up by another team

Every game I watch, I keep thinking: at what point did the coaching staff/Trotz look at Blankenburg and said "yep, this guy's definitely an upgrade over Fabbro".
What you can say about BB is that he plays hard and fearless. He seems to have a good hockey IQ and be able to read plays and was IIRC the only guy on the team in the +. But when he throws everything he has into a check and the opponent barely notices or maybe turns and accidentally ragdolls him, it's clear why willpower isn't always sufficient.

If their problem was that Fabbro wasn't a big guy who'd crush people in front of our net on a regular basis, then thinking BB is that guy is laughable.

And a big thank-you to the schedule-maker for giving us Seattle, Chicago, San Jose, and Anaheim in these 4 games around the TDL.

We're going to win all 4 and reverse-tank ourselves out of that draft pick. It's so predictable it hurts.
:baghead:
