Rumor: Sounds like Ryan Lomberg may have priced himself out of staying with the Panthers. @DavidDwork

Not even a true NHLer.

He definitely is a legit NHLer. Might be no more than depth on a really deep, championship caliber team - but every mid or crappy club has multiple filler guys who aren't as effective as Lomberg at anything. My team just cut two or three of them loose yesterday, hopefully to make room for a guy like this who at least brings energy and gets under team's skin.

How does a player getting scratched price himself out? That doesn't even make sense, unless the team price is league min.

He started off on the 4th line.
Got sick during the Tampa series and since the team was winning they didn't revert back to Lombo back in the lineup.
Also with Bennett's hand being injured, they wanted another center dressed, so Lorentz was the 4th line LW/C.
He played 3 games against NYR and 3 games against Edmonton, no?

Any team gets him. Will love him. Great locker room guy

Sad to see him go but I think Gadjovich takes his spot already signed

Once Bennett's hand got better they did start to rotate Lomberg back in.
He was a staple on the 4th line for the past few years until the 24 TDL and unfortunate sickness.
