We saw it with the Phillies too, there’s a contingent of female fans that get protective of these players for reasons beyond their actual abilities. They get mad when other fans want to move on from them for legitimate play ability reasons so they’ll cling to anything to justify it.

Russ, to my knowledge, didn't change his tune the second that Jones was hired so he's ok. The other one is bought and paid for though.
