They are supposed to be insiders for the Penguins with the Athletic, but neither has broken a story with the Penguins in close to a decade. So take it with a grain of salt. If you are talking about the fan posting, well every fanbase has knowledgeable fans and the vast majority that are media fed. I believe you guys call them the Authentics. Same breed.

In general I dislike the penguins team, just in principle. Their fans seem alright though in interactions I've had with them. Usually nice and knowledgeable about hockey, definitely better than Rangers fans on average.
