I hope he's a real players' coach. Also, it does seem he did a lot with a little and also seemed to really take Alex Bump up a couple levels. But yeah, we'll see. At least it's not a retread.

Forget the cronyism angle (hard, I know). I wouldn’t hire any college coach over the age of 40. It’s a firm rule of mine. I think it bears out. College hockey coaches suck ass. This old WMU guy is green to head coaching even by college standards. Honestly, he’d be an idiot to leave what should be a steady job until retirement.
