I only remember this because at the time the callout was essentially we dont have a strong enough midfield to support that with Enzo being a staple.

It makes me think bringing in Ugarte was with the expectation of Amorim coming sooner than later. Apparently he thrived under Amorim before leaving to PSG.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised. They had that run a few years ago and it's been rapid decline since, all while bringing in nobody while other teams get better
