I swear I’m being pranked

Two of the things I specifically liked about Dortmund when I was looking for a team to support was 1) the way they were known for giving young guys chances and developing talent, and 2) that they had an exciting style of play.

Now Terzic is admitting to trying to win games 1-0 by sitting back for 80+ minutes and really good young players (Moukoku, Reyna, Malen, JBG) aren’t getting much (if any) playing time and some are rumored to be loaned out or sold in the near future, all so the coach can keep playing worse older players.

Leverkusen is the team you're looking for. :naughty:

Everybody did. They saw it on Mars.
And after the game they're being interviewed and they're saying they're not disappointed with the result...

WHAT?

You allowed yourself to be dominated for 80 minutes and only got a tie? That's OK with you? For a team that says they want to win the league?

Why should they be disappointed? They were lucky to get a point.

Because anything other than a win should be a disappointment for a team that sees themselves as contenders. Especially when they were able to get an early goal and held a lead that late in the game.

It's cute that you believe that.

Leverkusen had won every league home game so far this year, by an aggregate of 13-2. A 1-1 draw isn't so bad, considering.

Edit: Make that 21-3. Missed some early games.

@Starat327 Palmer playing as the 10. Curious to see him more central. He has the talent. Not sure if you are watching live so won’t post live game info

Keep me out of your squabbling . I’m having a hard enough time watching United

I think I just felt a tremor in the Force. As if a Dortmund supporter cried out in pain. Terrible pain.
Ha that game is on next to the United game. I felt it. Didn’t know Stuttgart was doing so well. Surprised when I looked at the table today

There’s still time to change teams. Join the Arsenal bb.

Worst game I have seen City play in the Prem under Pep.

A lot of the "bigger" losses City have had under him? Bad luck, or only marginally outplayed.

Tonight? Villa have been sooo much better it is silly.

Foden should have been playing more centrally... with De Bruyne and Rodri out he is the most creative player there, but has been out on wing most of the game. Bernardo has low key had one of his worst games for City. Alvarez also has been very poor.

I watched kinda live as I still had work to do and interview prep for a new position. Brutal game. I think I counter, between intermittent watching, at least 4 odd man breaks where we lost the ball in our feet. We need Nkunku badly.

Better to be fighting a relegation battle in a real league than title pretenders in a farmer league.

Villa has been awesome. Have been for alot of 2023 They have won 14 league games in a row. That scoreline flattered City. Definitely can finish in the top 4.

Yeah it is tough to watch. The announcer before the match called it... there is no way to predict these teams.

Hope all is well with the young family .... I’m on the search for the top PNW winter beers... cheers
