Would love to see him in MLS.
He's been pretty open about seizing the opportunity to make big money in Saudi Arabia. I actually respect that. He didn't even try to pretend that he would go there for any other reason like Gerrard or Henderson did.
Going to MLS would be choosing lifestyle over money. The money these players can make in Saudi Arabia is obscene. But living in New York or L.A. for a few years while still getting paid can be enticing, as well.

Gotta get that Saudi money before it's too late.

In all seriousness, probably the best attacking midfielder in Premier League history.

Yeah as a United fan, I have to admit you might be right. Tough to compare different eras as I rate Scholes as the best and the systems were different so it gets a bit gray. The Arsenal captain, Odegaard , has basically become the new KDB in my humble opinion. Absolutely love watching him play

Odegaard is having a pretty bad season though. He's been a shadow of the player we saw the last two years. Comparing him to de Bruyne almost feels like insulting de Bruyne right now, and I'm saying this as an Arsenal fan.

Scholes was always underrated in his prime. Probably because he happened to play at a time when world class attacking midfielders weren't a rarity and he had to compete with the likes of Zidane and Figo. Can totally understand people making an argument for Scholes over de Bruyne.

Guess it shows how much I’ve been watching aha. Is Odegaard dealing with injuries or just having a bad season compared to his usual level?

He had an injury earlier in the season. He hasn't been the same since his return. Maybe he's still dealing with some kind of injury, who knows. It's possible and I almost hope that's the case because otherwise his performances this year would be reason to worry.

For the good of the game I hope he gets back to form. Such a creative player. The last couple seasons he was arguably the player of the season. I don’t like saying nice things about the gooners but I’ll make an exception for him aha

Probably a lower chance of being thrown in prison for no reason in Saudi Arabia now.
