Yeah you did assume…incorrectly. And since there are more US hockey fans than Canada’s entire population, it’s a pretty ignorant comment to make.
even if there are more hockey fans in the US it's still more popular in Canada.

4th most popular sport in USA and it's the most popular in Canada.

you can't say that. you don't speak for everyone, only your self. and no it's not ignorant. hockey just isnt that popular in the Southern States, most people would rather play basketball, football or baseball.

why else do you think they had to add a red line for shots/slapshots and blue lines for passes (Glow Puck)? it's because most American's/Casuals don't find it interesting and have a hard time tracking the puck

FoxTrax was only used for 3 years more than 25 years ago and was universally panned by diehards and casuals alike. You bringing it up doesn’t reinforce your point. If anything, it proves the opposite: the project was short lived because even casual fans didn’t need it.
