Makar could be a big difference, imo. Canada generated way more chances than the US in the round robin game but it was mostly the forwards doing everything; the lack of threats on the point was a noticeable handicap throughout, outside of Doughty's assist. Having a guy who's that good at getting shots and passes through is key.

I want Canada to win, I think they have better top end talent but the USA is deeper and has better grit and goaltending.

There's no clear favourite between the two teams. So it's anyone's guess.

Based on how I spelled "favourite" up there, I'm sure you can tell I'm Canadian. But I don't care about politics or geography when it comes to hockey. I just straight up like the players on the USA roster better. So I say they win this one.
