So Upstate NYers can no longer watch Rangers when Sabers play?

Nahh. Comcast doesn't have msg. At least not officially. Sometimes they will put an msg game on like a public access channel or something but they don't put it on the guide or anything.

Unfortunately uverse isn't available on my street yet.

I have comcast CT and we have MSG MSG+ and MSG2 BUT when the Rangers are on MSG2 and NBCSports the game is usually blacked out. It will even be on the guide as on but just the color bars. Oh and MSG2 is not HD it is a letterboxed broadcast.

One thing that is WEIRD is that we have had Buffalo games on the MSG feeds.

Are you southern ct? Here in new britain the channel lineup for any Comcast package does not include msg/msg2/msg+

Yea lucky you. Up in Hartford area msg is a part time channel at best. Meaning occasionally they will put an msg game on a different channel tho they won't say when it's on or put it on the guide.

Up in Binghamton the only way I can see the Rangers when they play on the same night as the Sabres is to go to a bar with center ice or the other MSG channels.. it's very annoying. Don't have the money for a bigger cable package (most college students don't). Was thinking about hockey streams but with the spotty internet in my apartment building idk how the quality would be.

yea, thats how i watch every game. They are still hit or miss though, often cut out, not always good quality.

I think Im going to invest in a slingbox and put it over at my parents house where they have uverse and MSG HD

They pay for cable with the sports channels and can't watch the Rangers because the NHL think they should be watching the Sabres instead.

And you don't see the problem because there could be streams available? What a dumb statement.

I'm up in Albany and run into the same problem. I have TWC and they said they have no control over what game is shown, it's the NHL.
