So far the RFA signings seem like good deals to most of us on HF CBJ. Is that an indication that we overvalue our young guys?

When you often pick very high and the draft is treated like such a big deal, fans are going to look to that to make your team a contender. Overall, Columbus has not done a good job of drafting guys that you want to pay big money to when they become a UFA. So you don't get the surplus benefit of their production when they are still inexpensive.

That was a Dundon move, not Waddell's call.

I certainly hope this is the case. Carolina has/had such a weird structure with the Dundon hands on ownership style it was hard to figure out who was responsible for what between Dundon, Waddell, Brindamour, and to a lesser extent Tulsky. In any event I like what Waddell has done so far.
