This game is a great rallying point. If they can come out of this for a win the team will really start believing in themselves.

When 20 guys in the room start to think "f*** it. We can hang with Chicago and San Jose and Anaheim" anything is possible. Even top 5 in the division isn't out of the question!

It all starts here.
Who am I kidding. These guys know they can't skate with the Sharks.

Avs need a new power play. Every other team has figured out how to defend against the current one.

The zone entry drop pass is so predictable that all opponents have to do is aggressively, surround and outnumber the Avs puck receiver.

He'll cough it up, attempt a blind cross ice pass, or shoot it into the D's pads.

Keep them to the outside and box out anyone who tries to penetrate the slot.

Mission accomplished.

And will the coaching staff ever learn that wining face-offs is actually a desired goal?

You're like the most positive guy on here look

Lol yeah I'm not actually that concerned about tonight. It's just really funny to watch all the dumb decisions.

I dont really worry about individual games or small sample sizes tbh. I do think by the time March rolls around we'll be looking a lot better.

But I'd say overall I'm one of the more negative posters here. I've suggested our window is closing or closed for years now and gotten a lot of pushback for it.

I wasn’t agreeing with firing Bednar, but why would this team play like this? They just don’t care out there. Is it because they’ve had it with this coaching staff? They should be over the flu by now so it can’t be that
