It doesn't work with Roku TVs either. The Sportsnet app couldn't be a worse user experience if it tried.

Yeah but thats always been the case. But right now Google is moving away from Android TV front end to the Google TV front end so you can be faced with your older tv updates and now it won't work or your new tv won't work
 
We seem to be paying for less of a product I haven’t figured out how to watch the late games the next day and the fact you can’t choose which commentary to listen to sucks. My western team is Dallas Stars and I miss listening to Razor. I have emailed them but I doubt I will get a reply. Will report back if I do.

I'm watching on a PS5 and a 77" LG TV. During stoppages, the picture quality is superb. But during play the puck and players are often blurry as the camera tracks the play. This really affects my enjoyment of the game. That's my only major complaint.

I do have a number of minor complaints, however if that major complaint could be resolved I could live with the other issues.

For sure this service is worse than NHL Live, much worse. The only reason I'm still paying for this "service" is that I want a delayed start to the game, which I can't get from the free streams.

OMG - just moved back from Canada and am forced to use SN Now after years of Game Center. Never mind the overall picture quality (poor), and performance (buggy), but is there really no option to resume a game from where you left it?

Only thing blacked out on SN Now for you should be Toronto region games. SN Now will play all other regions for you.

Yup, the NHL would do well if they had a service that let you pay for and watch ALL games, no blackouts, no in region games being broadcasted. I do not want to have to pay for SN NOW to watch out of region games at $200 for the year, and TSN to watch my local team.....at $225 a season.

It's ridiculous. Give me one service for $300 a year to watch ALL GAMES and I'll pay it.

Every single game has up and down picture quality moments, and the sound is like 0.5-1 seconds behind. For example, when a player takes a shot and it goes straight in the net, I hear the fans reacting to a goal before the puck has left the guys stick and the announcer saying scores before it has even entered the net.

NHL.tv was nothing amazing and was in need of updates as well, but it was superior to SNNOW in every way. Not being able to pick your broadcast doesn't even make sense, as each game is covered by both teams crews in about 85-90% of the games anyhow, and it is random which crew you get each night anyhow, so they clearly have access to every teams coverage. Sometimes you get the home team and sometimes the road team.

Except that $200 is more than enough for all that, and WAY TOO MUCH as well. Netflix gives you access to millions of movies and shows for less than that a year, and SNNOW is only providing coverage of one item.
 
Has anyone found an answer as to why they only offer one teams broadcast, and if it’s going to change?
 
I keep getting sportsnet now network error 400208. Someone above said they sent an email but did not get a response...Where can you even find an email address?

I sat in the chat one night and nobody showed up to help.

This is honestly the worst product I have used, how is this level of incompetence terrible service even possible? How do I get some basic help with that network error or even report it?
 
Same issues this year. Can't watch on Roku, I can't mirror it from the SN app on my phone, Lately I haven't been able to even watch it on my phone as the app gives me an error. PS4 app is garbage, and you can't stream a game unless its live, otherwise it doesn't load. You select favourite teams and have to search for the game because the favourites never show up amongst the rest of the games. Canada needs better options, frustrating to think NHL live a decade ago was a better service.

Works fine for me. Quality is good, hardly ever any buffering or any issues like that. I wish you could fast forward faster than 30s at a time on a TV, but this issue doesn't exist on phones or computers. Blackouts are a major downside, but with a VPN you can most likely watch these games on nhl66.

Cable is cheap as hell these days lol.

Cable+ sport package is cheaper than the few streaming services combined. I care to watch hockey way more than Netflix or prime these days
