Canes could play equally low event and mentally out of it. Might sneak a point here
Expect a loss .. hopeful Canes don't come out flying .. if a slower more skilled type of game then we got a shot .. you never know with teams who can't improve their playoff standingSurprised he would draw in over Rifai. Not expecting much from this game tbh, feels like a letdown coming off the high of a big emotional win over a hated rival at home. Canes are usually a tough matchup too.
Completely meaningless game. Just get through it without injuries.
Marner played over 26 minutes last night, if there's no OT then maybe Berube can somehow keep him under 25 this time around.Get the win, get Marner his 2 points so they can rest him the last game or two if they wish.
Berube went all out to get 2 points last night. Have to think he looks for more balance today.Marner played over 26 minutes last night, if there's no OT then maybe Berube can somehow keep him under 25 this time around.
Playing Marner (and a few others) that much was really dumb. JMHO.Berube went all out to get 2 points last night. Have to think he looks for more balance today.
Not a great omen but hopefully he’s quiet and uneventful.

I think it was okay. That game was ours for the taking and I think Berube really wanted it. Smart move to get that extra two points as quick as possible in the last week.Playing Marner (and a few others) that much was really dumb. JMHO.
No, it is very meaningless. It's the exact opposite of meaningless. Every game matters until we see that Y next to the name
Not sure it's that simple. People talk about how tiring it is to go deep, and how for example Florida will be feeling the effects of the last two playoffs making it harder for them to do it again. Now I don't know how much truth there is to that but if hockey they played a year ago does have an effect, then it's hard to say that playing the crap out of Marner now won't have an effect should we happen to still be playing a month from now, never mind two months.Meh they might need to do it in the playoffs better they are used to it. They are pro athletes after tonight they play 2 games in likely 7 days before the playoffs start. Guys will be rested
I like to think they could have played Marner 20 minutes and still gotten to OT. Every game's important but it's not like that game was so crucial that we had to be that desperate to win.I think it was okay. That game was ours for the taking and I think Berube really wanted it. With that win we have pretty much locked up first and I’m sure we’ll see him go easy on the guys for the next few games. Carolina would have been tougher one to get a win in, and the last two games we can just sit guys as needed.
I certainly dont expect a physical game. Avoiding injuries will be the primary objective of the both teams but especially the Canes who are set.Canes could play equally low event and mentally out of it. Might sneak a point here
This is just wrong. I think you know that though as it's so incredibly obvious. No, it is very meaningless.
I dont even read Captain Confidents posts anymore. His memory is an etch a sketch. This is just wrong. I think you know that though as it's so incredibly obvious.
We here in the BwO remain humble. Yes, we were around 25 million years ago when we last won the division in the garden of Eden, and we will be here forever, just don't pick the apple.
3. Magic number is 3.
Magic number I believe is 2 so let’s lock er up today and rest guys the rest of the way.
Edit: looks like it’s actually 3 so need Tampa to lose in any fashion.
They're one of those teams that will absolutely skate your pants off if you let them.Saw the Canes live the other night. They came out pretty slick in terms of structure and passing but then fell apart and never showed the energy we have seen out of the Atlantic recently.
Tough schedule wise but if the Leafs find their feet we should be able to out will them.
