Krebs is OK and Suzuki is excellent. I think Edstrom will be decent. The rest are no big loss compared to what they brought to VGK. Not counting Connelly, who could be very good but he's still ours. We've just not really depended on the draft as we are an attractive destination for FA's and our management has found some gems elsewhere.

I've watched Brisson on the HSK and VGK, he's too small and doesn't bring much, I doubt he'll be more than a fringe NHLer.

This would push Pearson or Oloffson to the bench if healthy around the team. They could be done adding at forward. I think maybe a backup goalie to replace Samsonov may be the only move they'd make now.

The answer to that is Yes.

The question is now whether they have enough.

While interesting to watch Dallas and Florida makes big trades, I remember back to last season when the new players, including Hertl, were not particularly effective because there was little team chemistry with them.

Also, because so many teams are still on the wildcard bubble, it was definitely a seller's market and the prices paid for some of these players was not good.

I'm probably more happy that the Oilers couldn't find a goalie again than anything else.

With luck, we can get through to the WCF without too much trouble and then face a beat-up winner of the WPG-DAL-COL squid games. That's my hope anyway.
