Yeah, I was gonna say it was critical to stop this series right now. Not because we wouldn't win at home but would give Vegas one more game to try to take out our stars. Really the only thing they were interested in these past two games.

Said it yesterday too that Dallas winning last night so convincingly over Winnipeg probably would motivate Edmonton to close this out ASAP. The cautious game 7 mindset the team had to start makes a lot of sense when you view it through that lens.

I don't care how many teams he's linked to or how many interviews he's given, I think Woodcroft's real chance of landing another NHL head coaching job is near zero. And deservedly so.
