To come back in after the start he had, in this city, with the pressure that was on him and to calmly coolly put together back-to-back shutouts is just really, really impressive. And I am definitely amongst his biggest critics.

Credit to Eichel. Arguably the best player in this series but on an island

Nah. He wasn't even the best player for Vegas. Karlsson was. Reilly Smith contributed more too. Without those two guys Vegas gets swept.

Eichel didn't make one big play that impacted ANY outcome.

I said in game 1 Eichel only passing and never scoring is doing about what Doug Weight would except Weight was much stronger on pucks, would score occasionally in playoffs, and I'd pick him all day over little spineless Jar Jar Binks.

The object of hockey isn't trying to pass the puck in the net which Vegas tried all series. Eichel makes himself LESS dangerous by rarely being a scoring threat in playoffs.

Eichel also looked off a clear shot in the slot to pass the puck in game 4. This was in the formative time in that game and he botched a beauty chance passing off. Oilers go onto win that game easy.
