The company seems to be testing more worked shoots in general. They liked the reactions. To the Brock/Orton match and people speculating whether Brock went off the reservation in a shoot or not and they like people speculating whether Miz went shooting as well

I would expect them to run with this on Tuesday to get some crowd reactions.

My big worry is where does this go? The face GM feuding with the heel mid card champ with zero chance of an actual match happening. What is the payoff?

Face Joe? Ehh I'm not high on that idea. Miz does need someone to feud with and the SD card really needs a solid mid card babyface, but Joe wouldn't be my pick for that role.

He is still my beast killer and Shane's SD champion.

To have a conduit to progress Ambrose and Ziggler to an acceptable level for a face-face program. I'm okay with Wyatt-Orton because Wyatt should go over and use it as a way to build him up and hopefully at some point between now and WrestleMania, get him the title.

AJ is going to have the title for a long time so I wouldn't hold my breath for a Bray title run anytime soon.

I'm not even convinced Bray wins this Orton feud. They might want to give Randy a win back after getting his head caved in by Brock
