If Sweden wants to win today they desperately need to play less predictable patterns in the attacking zone. They have on the puck a lot but most of the passes the have been making were really easy for the defending team to read.

Only got two lines capable of that, and only one is doing it right now.

I feel like in this years playoffs the Slovaks can easily upset both Finland and Czechia but not those other three.
Meanwhile Czechia and Finland if lucky can upset those other three in a playoff game even if they will be huge underdogs.

Why I have this feeling is because of the Slovaks lacking in depth. Even if Dvorsky is one of the biggest stars in this tournament.

Also Kaskimäki, Jecho, Pekarcik, Stancl, Kos, etc. Lots of good Czechs.

The 2 goals are pretty similar... I call it the perfect hockey shot... above the pad and near the post. About a foot off the ground. Slovaks are doing well. Next goal is key for both.

I'm actually a bit mad that you guys miss those players. Because the best should get selected if it's okay with their NHL organization.
I blame the management more than the actual prospects. When they are that young I think the staff carries more responsibility than when they are pro's and older.

Blues always, or very often have those nice blue jerseys and I love their logo. One of the best in NHL.
Good choice.
Both the lighter blue (heritage?) and the home jersey are top 10 jerseys in the NHL for me personally.

With Badinka there was some controversy about his attidute towards NT, so I guess his absence can be excused. But leaving Mrtka and Benak behind is just plain stupid.

Mrtka has the size and is showing he is more then good for U20 level already, plus is considered 1st round prospect so far, you just dont leave such a player at home if your replacement is Volas, Port or Koci

Benak is just extremely skilled, I know his size is bringing him down, but for U20 level he is just more then good enough. I am not saying he would dominate WJC same way he dominated Hlinka, but I am pretty sure he would have been absolutely great and big threat with Sale on 1st line

Why is Mrtka not on the team?

Only Augusta and his staff knows. Same way they are probably only ones in all czech hockey public who didnt want him on the team lol
