Finally, after 26 years (since Latvia was promoted) we beat Latvia at the World Championships. The last team that was unbeaten against us in this tournament. Until now.

Good win by Slovakia today. Character win today. Latvia hung around and you gotta feel for them a bit. They're the home team and their chances to make the QF after today are slim.

We've got it all wrong here...................we have them all in the broadcast booth, and few of them are gorgeous.

Skorvi was great in the net today. We really needed him to be huge. Silovs was also standing on his head. The better team won, but Latvia put up a great fight after a very lackluster first period for them.

I want to see some shuffling of the lines maybe. The offense needs to get going. We gotta bury more chances, the game should have been over after 20 minutes.
