GDT: Slovakia vs Finland

Late to the game. I think Slovak give Finn's headaches, no? Stylistically?

Finns are the favs but I expect a good game and Slovakia is picking up the pace now!

PP for Slovakia. Probably tied game soon.

The finnish BP is horrendous. So passive. Just like in the exhibition games.

Finn's look much more engaged today then yesterday. This will be fun.

Still pissed no Slaf! He's even in that part of Canada! Habs aren't making the playoffs (sorry jj)

Finland had the first 8 or 9 shots of the game. Now the shots are tied 9-9.

Nice goal by Repcik. He always seems to play well for the national team even if he struggles in his club.

Edit: Shots 10-9 in favor of SVK

They absolutely dominated early. No one expected them to dominate the whole game lol. What a genius call by you!

After yesterday I was just hoping they wouldn’t embarrass themselves and show up. They have. I don’t care who wins I just want a good game.

No worries, between our it was inevitable sag and Floridas sinking frigate of a season..............we are looking better and better for the draft and rebuild goes in hyper drive.
 
Start of the period was good, end of the period looked like yesterday. Our players don't know what to do with the puck, just slam it around the boards and hope for something. I feel like this is a coaching issue, I don't believe all the players lost their ability to produce scoring chances at the same time.

Special teams has just been terrible and it seems like Lämsä hasn't done anything to fix it.

If Finland were better in the first part? Rarely creating any good chances, then Slovakia were better the other half.
So no, Finland aren't better. It's 1-1 and the shots are even.

First 10 minutes Slovakia had nothing, zero shots. After goal it was pretty even and then 2mins PP, how is that even?

I'm trying to get in your shoes and think how you view these games, i mean if Slovakia has zero chances and even half decent attack during the first half, that isn't dominating?
