The French commentators on TV are saying that in their opinions the goal will not be good. Tells you of the quality of the French broadcast (Norman Flynn and Michel Lacroix are worst then the others)

Bad penalty call leads to PP goal and a bad challenge results in another PP. None of this would have happened if the ref saw the good stick check for what it was.

This is the first year in a while where we haven’t had 1 decent goalie, can’t remember when we had this bad in a long time

One thing I love about Slovakia.. they go toe to toe and don't do the 'soccer thing' and sit back and drown the game out. Slaf wouldve been so good here and a goalie would help unfortunately as they are all struggling to my eye.

nice to see USA hockey having a identity.......its been quite a few years now since the grassroots effort to develop players/us hockey.....for the last 4 or 5 years now you can see these wjc teams play the us hockey way/style and its a exciting brand of hockey
