Had one waved off against Toews too in Game 1 WCF.
If I'm an opposing player I'm just firing away away at his skates or his helmet. I know if I connect, it's a guaranteed bank shot into the net.

One goal in Game 1 and another in Game 5 went off Voinov and in.
This year there was the one last night, and the one waved off in Game 1 against the Hawks.
Those are all from memory and I think there are more. I vaguely remember one against the Sharks last year and I think there was one in Game 4 or 5 this year against the Ducks.
Edit; Also Game 3 against the Sharks this year. Marleau's shot went off Vinov's stick in OT.

This honestly wasn't meant to be a slava bashing post.
It's just uncanny, unlucky, and weird that this keeps happening.
I was seriously just curious to get a physical number if anybody had it.
He's had a rough go in these playoffs.. and i have faith that he
will bounce back and be a positive factor in these last few games.

I agree. Love the kid. I am not as hard as many here on this board, I realize he hasn't had the season he would have wanted nor has he played like he did the past two seasons, but this guy is a keeper. He is a hell of a defender and doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves when he prevents a goal.
His shot might be off this season but he has scored in the playoffs and he had a big goal against CHI in game 3. Here is thinking he is going to pot at least one against Lundy this series.

Is this really a bashing though? I find it amusing more than anything else, I mean he's probably the unluckiest guy around the net I've ever seen. But he's a keeper for sure, some growing pains right now but his outlet pass is probably the best on the team. That's an invaluable skill. He's having an awful year in just about every other area though, but between it being his first full season, a new big money contract and not really having gone through any real sophomore slump him struggling isn't entirely unexpected. He'll get through it and hopefully emerge as a better player.
The kid gets down on himself, too. It's not like he doesn't know he isn't playing well.
