Exactly. When you hear Gorton or St.Louis speak, you can hear that Montreal is trying to build an actual program and they speak with intent. I'd prefer we finish 11th in the conference but Suzuki-Caufield go PPG and not every mistake ending up in the back of our nets as opposed to losing 65 games on purpose trying to collect lottery picks.

Andrei just wants one more bottom 5 finish. This is the year it needs to happen. Then, I won't say a word for another decade. Pinky promise.

You didn't miss the best part, as your new avy is showing.

It's been a Slaf-fest of new avatars being added further to this game.
Sadly I missed it live, went for a walk with my gf when it was 3-0 (gaining some Air Lousse) and got back home at 5-2.
Hot Damn that is such a likeable Group.

Meh. Whatever happens, happens. But you don't give up before game 1. If we finish 10th but our young core looks great doing it, I'm all for it.
Kinda like last year with Ducharme, it would have been easy to keep him until the end but the damage to the young players may have been too difficult to fix. Caufield with 1 goal in 30 games? How is that even possible?

Wow is right... Kassian is a legit tough guy 6'3'' 211lbs doesn't fight has much as I expect but still has lot of experience and Xhekaj made him look like a light weight...
I went to look at Kassian’s career fight card on Hockey Fights and he’s won almost all his fights. I think this is the worst smackdown in his career…. Xhekaj is a legit Heavyweight. But I think he’ll help the team more by just acting as a deterrent who only fights once in a while and concentrating on hockey.

Yup. He had to go. Sometimes fans on here think coaches are kept on to lose games (Blashill in Detroit was a big one for that sort of dumb talk) without realizing that an NHL team will never keep a bad coach on purpose. It's ridiculously counter-productive and is susceptible to cause incredible ill-will inside an organization.

Thanks for your service.

Slaf played 14 minutes, 3 shots on goal and was very good. Alot to learn for sure but the improvements are visible.
Good to hear and thank you.

Harris had his best game. He played smart, using his mobility and high IQ to defend and move the puck. The more I see, the more I am convinced that Harris is here for good.
There was never any doubt imo.
