What's the difference in food between the SN and SKY?

Seems like SN is a full buffet style whereas Sky just has appetizers. Anyone sit in both and know the difference? My stomach is asking.

Also wondering if the food is labeled. I can't eat pork and don't want a piece of pepperoni to ruin my night lol.

Having experienced both it was quite clear that the SN Lounge had much bigger selection of food. The Sky Lounge was paltry by comparison.

I had a Standing Room ticket in the Sky Lounge for Game 5 and wouldn't hesitate to get a ticket there again. We had a full view of the ice 99% of the time, with the close net being a little hard to see, especially if the person sitting in front of you leans forward. I would say the three "seats" on the end of section are the worst as the wheelchair seat railing blocks the view a bit and there is also an annoying curtain that is hung there.

The washrooms were about 6 feet behind us and it was super easy to run during a stoppage in play or TV time out. It lined up a little bit at times but nothing like the pictures you see of the concourse.

The food options were roast beef, pot stickers, sushi, nachos and wings. They bring out desserts for the third period. There are servers who take your drink orders and bring you your drinks during the game. They also let you keep a tab and square up near the end of the game.

It's odd that I emailed an Oilers ticket rep before the game and she was clueless to what a Standing Room ticket was and basically told me it was the same as the "Guest Passes" and I wouldn't be able to see the ice at all. Standing Room tickets have a designated spot with your "seat" number printed on the ground and a drink rail to lean on.

I just wanted to put this info out there for anyone searching for what these tickets entail. I wasn't able to find much and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the arena.

Damn... I sold my standing room tickets when my shift at work got extended. That sounds unreal.

How much was the ticket?

The cheapest resale seat was around $350. I was lucky enough to get a pair of verified tickets which most people were unable to. Considering that, I felt it was worthwhile with all of the perks the ticket provided. Standing didn't bother me one bit.

Fair enough. All the prices are quite high for sure.
Having been in that section I am not all that fond of being up so high right behind the net.
You are in the building though and there is no lineup for the washrooms.
:D

I have 2 standing room sky lounge tickets available for game 4 if anyone is interested. I'm not looking for a profit so selling for face value $360 each (price that Ticketmaster charged me). I bought them during public sale on Wednesday.

The one time I was in the Sky Lounge (for the Florida game where McDavid got the OT winner) they had a huge selection of food. Roast beef, jerk chicken, sushi, all sorts of stuff, all you can eat. I was very impressed. Is this not the norm?

Sounds like a step up from what I experienced.

Honestly though I would have never known that the SN Lounge was much better if they hadnt of accidentially let us into the SN Lounge even though we had Sky Lounge tickets. So we saw both buffets during the same game.
Once we saw the SN Lounge buffet...we just stayed there. :D

I had tickets to yesterday's game, Game 4 Oilers vs Ducks and I agree with all the comments made by spitfire411. I was pleasantly surprised with the standing room and wouldn't hesitate to get them again.

As spitfire411 did, i emailed my Oilers rep and the info he gave me was wrong as he said standing room had no view of the ice. Dead wrong. there is a drink rail with a foot rest and each spot is marked so you have a place to stand with a view. The net closest to you was more difficult to see but I used the foot rest to bump myself up so i could see above the people in the seats. If you are tall, you wouldnt have a problem.

the food was great. I've been to the sky lounge at a regular season game and the food during the playoffs was definitely better. it's closer to the selection in the Sportnet Lounge minus the hot dogs and popcorn. From what i remember, we had roast beef, hot pasta, sushi, fried shrimp, nacho taters, onion rings, salad, and meat/cheese spread.
