What's the difference in food between the SN and SKY?
Seems like SN is a full buffet style whereas Sky just has appetizers. Anyone sit in both and know the difference? My stomach is asking.
Also wondering if the food is labeled. I can't eat pork and don't want a piece of pepperoni to ruin my night lol.
Having experienced both it was quite clear that the SN Lounge had much bigger selection of food. The Sky Lounge was paltry by comparison.
Damn... I sold my standing room tickets when my shift at work got extended. That sounds unreal.I had a Standing Room ticket in the Sky Lounge for Game 5 and wouldn't hesitate to get a ticket there again. We had a full view of the ice 99% of the time, with the close net being a little hard to see, especially if the person sitting in front of you leans forward. I would say the three "seats" on the end of section are the worst as the wheelchair seat railing blocks the view a bit and there is also an annoying curtain that is hung there.
The washrooms were about 6 feet behind us and it was super easy to run during a stoppage in play or TV time out. It lined up a little bit at times but nothing like the pictures you see of the concourse.
The food options were roast beef, pot stickers, sushi, nachos and wings. They bring out desserts for the third period. There are servers who take your drink orders and bring you your drinks during the game. They also let you keep a tab and square up near the end of the game.
It's odd that I emailed an Oilers ticket rep before the game and she was clueless to what a Standing Room ticket was and basically told me it was the same as the "Guest Passes" and I wouldn't be able to see the ice at all. Standing Room tickets have a designated spot with your "seat" number printed on the ground and a drink rail to lean on.
I just wanted to put this info out there for anyone searching for what these tickets entail. I wasn't able to find much and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the arena.

Ouch.
The cheapest resale seat was around $350. I was lucky enough to get a pair of verified tickets which most people were unable to. Considering that, I felt it was worthwhile with all of the perks the ticket provided. Standing didn't bother me one bit.

The one time I was in the Sky Lounge (for the Florida game where McDavid got the OT winner) they had a huge selection of food. Roast beef, jerk chicken, sushi, all sorts of stuff, all you can eat. I was very impressed. Is this not the norm?
