It’s crazy having that record and barely gaining ground on Vegas
We are the two best in the league in that time. LA not far behind.

Knobby to Brown: "If you throw one hit or respond physically at all, you're never getting called back up"

In all seriousness, perfect game outside of our lack of bite and response to the Zadorov hit. I just think we're not getting out of the west unscathed if we continue to play timidly physically, despite our ability to win games.
I don't think this team will have issue ratcheting it up come playoff time. They know when the real games begin and they are 15-3-1 last stretch so not like what they're doing isn't working.

Bouchard was only on the ice for 3 HDCA all game.

Seems like a couple mistakes foreshadow his game as a whole.

He still had more positives than negatives.

If he could ever get it through his head to not shoot the puck right into the opponent's legs he'd be twice as good. I swear he puts no thought into avoiding that.

Stu now with a .902 on the season. Officially now 3 seasons in a row with an above average save percentage. And that’s a fact.

I get wanting him to be better. And I get if you think we need insurance in net. But DONT tell me this is the worst goalie in the League, or NEVER makes a big save, or he NEVER wins a game for us. You know who can't put up 3 seasons of above average save percentage in this League? A shit load of goalies paid over $5M to be consistent, as an example you need only look across the rink tonight at Swayman.

I mean Swayman was outstanding tonight though, lol, Boston gave up like 5 odd-man rushes, several involving McDavid.

We could've easily scored 5 or 6 tonight without an empty netter.

Umm I wouldn't say that, but sure. Either way my comment was talking about his season and his price tag, so his single same performance means very little in that context.

Felt like McDavid could've/should've had about 2 or 3 goals alone tonight. Boston's defensive structure was really loose, right now they look like a shadow of the team from 2 years ago.

Leon's got to be breathing a sigh of relief with those rumors that he would sign in Boston, lol. That would've been a big mistake.

I know he didn't score tonight but one of the criticisms of Drai was he only got PP goals. Not this year.

With run support of 4. No you couldn't say that. Run support of 2 though and some of those saves he made in the 3rd when the Bs finally decided to give a shit, would be a different game story though. But yeh either way, strong performance from Mr. Mustachio.

Oilers dominated them. Stu no doubt saved a couple of potential TSN turning points though.

Great game all around.

Didn’t get to watch this one but watched the extended replay. Skinner looked phenomenal, stopping several odd man and point blank chances (specifically in the 3rd). Was Bouchard as bad as the replay indicated? Dude seems to be a liability on the PP. He must lead the league in PP giveaways

Ok ok we get our Skinner finally had a great game. Can we move on.

Pretty sad when your #1 goalie plays like an actual #1 and half the posters are having an orgasm over it.
Yeah, how dare the fans discuss the game and how the players played in the game.

in a POST GAME THREAD.

Watched the highlites. Wish I seen more of that from Stu. Nice game by him.

Bouchard. Woof. His "holding the blueline: scares the sh** out of me this year. Everything seems kind of off with him this year.

Up next: PITT and then CHI is in town. Don't play these like that ANA loss...
