Yeah no thanks to guys that take stupid retaliation penalties leading to backbreaking goals against.

I was 8 rows up from the glass there… Perry had a bit of a knee on him (I’m told… missed that) and then simply out-vet-moved him absorbing the pushes before finally indulging the fight.

I don’t blame Frederic… the whole arena had zero energy.. he changed that, until we scored that is.

The replay they showed looked like a pretty normal body check but yea I dunno. Was confused as to why Frederic was so upset, but maybe it was earlier in the shift.

The Bruins in general seemed agitated all game.

It’s easy to say that from our POV.

If you were a Bruins fan I’m not sure you’d see it the same way.

Halfway thru the season the veterans start to come on a little bit. They know that even the regular season is a long one. They will pace themselves somewhat.

Henrique, J. Skinner and Arvidsson have all looked better of late. Some of those off-season acquisitions might yet look o.k.

Arvidsson is like Hyman (to my eye) in that he always comes to play. That counts for a lot going down the stretch. Henrique started slowly but he still has a very quick release. We saw it tonight.

Full credit to Stu tonight for a great game.

Skinner haters might be crying themselves to sleep tonight. Hope someone checks on them.
I don’t get this logic. I’m not a fan of Skinner’s. Oilers are still my favourite team and I’m happy Skinner played well and the Oilers won.

Bouchard ehhhhh
Bouchard was fine. Pucks didn’t outlet themselves

In my section, nobody thought it was a bad penalty… it was a worthwhile push back on a night the entire team was lacking energy…

Then again it’s Boston… we all drunk anyway
There are ways to generate energy without taking stupid penalties where you hurt your hand though.

Outletting pucks is part of his job. Not giving up breakaways is another.

It was a simple shoulder to shoulder check.
