Post-Game Talk: Skinner with the shut- PSYCH!

The shorthanded breakaway save is the exact type of save we've all criticized Skinner for not making for most of his career. Big save at a key moment that basically ended up putting the game away (until the team fell asleep for the last 8 minutes for some reason).

Sigh, you guys always find a way to give Skinner a backhand compliment even when he plays good games.
Skinner was strong in this game. Played very well. Even in the minutes that he was out Pickard made a nice zone exit pass. Oilers got good goaltending tonight. Both teams got goaltending With the Bruins though Swayman is kind of pointless. Why have such a good goalie when your club is awful and going to likely be out of playoffs? I look at this Bruins roster and just don't see what the plan is for scoring. Even with ample NHL help and the most PP's in the league (think about that) the Bruins can't score shit. They can't do much else either. In the West the Bruins would be like out of playoffs already.

The thing is he's made those saves before, you just forget them and only remember the times he didn't and focus on that.

Many ways, the game that Eakins would cream over. Physically, feel like we got assaulted multiple times with dirty hits and big pops and this game was mostly a walk in the park. Nearly everyone had a good to perfect game. No complaints, other than it's raining here.

Gotta single out Josh Brown for having a decidedly okay (which for his standards is basically Orr-esque) game. Good for you, bud!
