Post-Game Talk: Skinner with another spectacular Game 4 win

Sounds like one of those “stories” you used to “read” about in a “magazine.”
You’re talking about “True Crime Magazine”, right?
horny bar!

even Kapenen getting the love. he has to pay for it. ;)
who the f is Nurrl at the bottom? Must be the equipment manager.

(I know it’s Nurse, it just looks like someone was quite a few shots deep when trying to print the easiest surname on the team out-lol).

Just for chuckles, I opened up his profile to see if you were wrong about this too. You are.

These are his two previous posts before the one you replied to:

Sounds pretty positive to me...

Lol. Let's see how this works. You blame absolutely everything on Skinner. Every goal and game.

I have never been a big Skinner supporter, but most definitely defended him on goals and games unjustly being blamed on him. You relentlessly and mercilessly mocked anyone who even suggested otherwise and weren't on your " team hate Skinner" squad

But now that things are going great...im the unpositive one lmao. Or according to Jimmi ...contrarian

Is this how you conduct yourselfs in your personal life? I know 5 year olds with more maturity

Nice tantrum lol

I've been very pro-Stu lately. Almost like my opinions on players reflect their performances or something?

And you're seeing words that aren't there... Where did I say you weren't positive?

^^^ that's pretty much anywhere on the internet now. Just came from the mains where they have decided that US is now better at hockey than Canada because of that yearly international tournament they do with the players from the non-playoff teams
They say that during the WJC too, not remembering that we could have also had Bedard, Celbrini and Benson there this year.

45 - 43 = ....i don't have my calculator. @MessierThanThou , can you do that math for me please?

I know you mocked somebody for suggesting that Gary Bettman DID NOT infact send out a league mandate to make sure the Oilers lose.

Since I respect your opinion soooo much, I just want to make sure the math supports your claim

Are defending Bettman now? Like you're contrarian nonsense is reaching new heights.

I tried, but I guess this gets to keep happening.

It's better to be right and uncool than to agree with false narratives just to be cool

And you think that was about defending Bettman? As usual, you clearly have your own agenda

Any updates on how bad Brown is hurt? Hoping he doesn't miss too much time and only a game, although I'm worried he is badly concussed
He was already injured before the it, so maybe it's better to have a healthy RV in his spot

That 3-1 goal was super important; the hit could have been a Torres/Michalek moment

With another win the Oilers franchise will have it’s 200th post-season win.

Currently:

199W
140L

I think only some Orignal 6 teams have over 200 playoff wins, and they had a 60-70 year head start.

(The Stars franchise handed the Oilers just over 21% of their total post-season losses)

It's really quite amazing that you spend this much time on a hockey forum and yet still don't know that the likes of McDavid and Draisaitl should be drawing far more penalties than they do on the basis of how often they, and the team, control the puck...

Its actually 50 penalties taken vs 45 penalties drawn, for a net of -5. LA was +8 and Vegas was +3 overall. We are tied for second last in net penalties drawn, so tied for 14/15 out of 16 teams.

I'm don't think Drai is hurt. He is skating with power and had an all time great release in game 2

1. McJesus -> Drai seam is probably the most pre-scouted play in hockey. Vegas and Dallas are getting out in front of it, steps before it happens. The league also adjusted to Hyman backdoor and it's never there anymore

2. Even strength, Drai is playing a different role. He's playing a style that could negate Barkov and is skating with two 4rth liners. I have slagged Drai for the majority of his career but he is totally bought into winning and all these 1's and 0's the other team is putting up is the result imo.
I read an article (sorry, don't remember where) where Drai said when coach asked him to play a shutdown role, he embraced it. It's been very effective and gives the other lines a new look, something the other teams haven't adjusted to yet it seems.
