Why change something that’s working though? The goal is to win hockey games and that’s what they are doing and looking good doing it.

I think it worked for a game or two in the Vegas series but we need better players in the top 6. It seems a waste of Draisaitl’s talents. Maybe he’s more injured than we think and his offensive capabilities are limited so he’s being entrusted as a shutdown player? Who knows.

It worked the 2 games against Vegas straight up.

We just put up 6 goals. Drai still has 5 points in 3 games against Dallas.

I don’t think he’s injured at all. I think they are shutting down the top line and stretching out the Dallas defence and they will keep doing it until it stops being effective.

I'm don't think Drai is hurt. He is skating with power and had an all time great release in game 2

1. McJesus -> Drai seam is probably the most pre-scouted play in hockey. Vegas and Dallas are getting out in front of it, steps before it happens. The league also adjusted to Hyman backdoor and it's never there anymore

2. Even strength, Drai is playing a different role. He's playing a style that could negate Barkov and is skating with two 4rth liners. I have slagged Drai for the majority of his career but he is totally bought into winning and all these 1's and 0's the other team is putting up is the result imo.

I think brown will be missing a few games after that hit, he was already questionable the last game for whatever. That was nasty good to see him skate off on his own power
