Next game is massive, they have to be much much better, they were effective today but got outplayed during big chunks, Skinner was amazing.
Next one is huge.

I think “outplayed” is a misnomer.

They emptied the tank to pressure us, but we held the fort and didn’t allow a hell of a lot in terms of opportunities against. We had control of that game for the whole 60 minutes, even when they had the puck in our end.

Crowd was insane. Maybe 115db?

Best game I've certainly seen Skinner play. I wouldn't argue about it being his best game ever given the circumstances.

D was all solid today. Crowd loves Stetcher.

Felt like a fair number of passengers today but more on offence. Compete level was there.

I don't believe Drai is 100%. I am also not sure that we shouldn't throw in Arvidsson or Skinner. I like Kapanen (Krispy Kreme my wife calls him) and Podz but one of the top 5 players in the world needs to play with better talent than this.

Bouchard. I think when you're 10 feet from the ice you see how he can make passes that the other D simply can't. Tape to tape almost every time.

Team discipline was great today, sure seemed like a self-own by Dallas when Podz was called for high sticking. The crowd knew it. The refs talked about it but I guess not enough to overturn.

If Draisaitl is indeed below 100%, why not play him with better wingers rather than the dregs? That worked for a game or two against Vegas, but Dallas is an entirely different animal. Why not give him at least Kane?
