Yeah. He is not really getting any of his opportunities at the net either. Maybe he is saving it for an elimination game :)

He is incredible around the net. He had one of the best chances of the game. Created individually to boot. What game were you watching?

Couldn’t catch the game tonight

Looks like we only got 13 shots on net though.

Did we get caved and squeak out a win like the Canucks?

Good defensive effort mostly. Frustrating from an offensive standpoint, but maybe the team just wanted to prove a point, that they can on a whim just buckle down defensivel.y

Big picture. Good rest night for all

Can’t agree more on all points.
Its definitely true but LA also failed to get any passes across. Their skill plays were unable to find those plays. Only reason I'm saying this is Skinner wasn't required to make any moves across on one timers. Skinner did however make multiple good glove hand stops from slot areas. Kings did get their chances, just not across chances. Oilers lanes were impeccably covered.

Thing is though teams like Colorado and Vegas are much better at making 3-4 pass sequences to find a guy open. Kings are not elite offensively in any way. Kings didn't have any elite scoring this season.

The chance were he didn't get a shot off? Or was he credited with the puck just sliding to the net slowly to Rittch's pad after he already got swarmed?

IMO he's another guy that tries to hold pucks way too long. Which is kinda surprising as he's a vet and should be aware of how little time he has to try to make plays with his speed.

Honorable mention to Desharnais, sketcky moments with the puck but he was eating up pucks all night and was aces in the final few minutes just by being big and positionally sound.
Vinny is a huge reason the PK has been perfect so far. But he's been defensively solid all series, and was terrific tonight. Blocking shots, taking away passes, winning board battles. Glad he's on our side, that's for sure.

PS, according to SportLogiq, high danger chances were 7-4 in favour of Edmonton. LA had a lot of shots but not a lot of quality, we defended the a lot and front of the net REALLY well.

ok I literally just saw gregor tweet this almost verbatim.

you wanna tell us something errr???
