Skinner absolutely stole that game, huge saves, looked so dialed in, love it! Now they need to actually try next game, I mean not to just play defense and let LA attack attack attack....Jesus, that's too stressful.

Best focus I've ever seen from him. Impressive game. This is what we need.

No shooters on the LA Kings besides Kempe. 33 shots, but a lot of it was outside trash. And Skinner vacuumed up anything that was a tough chance.

Absolutely shit effort from the team, deserve to have Messier from the 80's come in ands absolutely ream them while yelling at them at full throttle.

But they won so none of it matters.

Yeah I dont get what they did offensively this game, but while they allowed a lot of shots I think they did a good job limiting Kings high danger chances so atleast theres that. Kings didnt come close with Rittich pulled either.

And the refs gave the Kings the game they wanted by putting away the whistles. We see this every series around Game 4/5 when the Oilers PP is pretty much an automatic goal.

A small benefit of no penalties was fewer whistles so this game only took 2:20

I missed basically the entire game but based on the skinner highlights they showed, it didn’t look like LA had very many top chances. Didn’t look like he had to stand on his head but made those key saves you need.

Yes, the team played extremely composed and sound defensively. It looked like they had their NHL 2024 settings dialed to protect the lead the entire game. I can't remember watching a single D pinch, just strong limiting strong chances.

Kings were volume perimeter shooting all game.

Skinner didn’t have to make a lot of big lateral moves, he could face the puck.

The guys plaged good D around him despite the shot differentials

Skinner was excellent and the defense kept them to the outside for the most part but would have liked to see us cause a few more turnovers in the neutral zone. LA got through there with ease.

Skinner all 3 stars... great victory that's got to be demoralizing for the Kings.

Arguably their best game of this series and last year’s and they not only lost, got shutout. Now they have a long plane ride to Edmonton to think about that.
