Post-Game Talk: Skinner Does Dallas

Lucky, Nurse has to stop with this dumb shit especially with Ekholm out. He's too valuable to the team and there's too much at stake. If the Oilers simply cut the stupid out of the game (adding in the stupid Kane and Perry penalties in Game 1) and they'd likely be favorites for the Cup. Just cut the stupid out, it should be easy for vets to recognize this.

I avoid the intermissions alltogether. Anything to do with Cassie or Friedman or..

About the only one I like is Bieksa.

I thought Cassie was fired and now she's back. Somebody must've told her to say something nice about an Oilers player. Only time it would happen is with Oilers being only Canada team left.
I love Bieksa!! Earned a ton of respect from me when he refused to let McLean out an Oilers jersey on the ground and Bieksa took it from him and held it up.

I usually don’t watch the intermission either, but I was eating and had to…lol. You and I agree on Bouchard- but imagine how frustrating it must be in the other team- defending McDavid, they think they’ve gotten it out, only for Bouchard to fire it right back onto 97s or 29s stick. 97 and 29 clear the zone and start skating full speed back in because they know Bouchard is going to deliver that puck. A beautiful thing.

Dallas has a bunch of "wannabe toughs" on their team. Robertson, Hinsz, Granlund, etc are playing with fire, if that's what they want. I fully endorse what Nurse did to Hinsz. He didn't cross any big lines, we had a nice lead and it sent a big time message to not f*** with him. I thought he was magnificent last night, and add Bouch into that realm. Every time Rantanen came to Bouch's side of the ice, he was completely erased. Deboer, Benn and Marchment should just shut the f*** up, with all the shit I've seen from them these playoffs and over the years. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
What did Benn and Marchment say? Benn should flat out challenge Nurse to a fight if Hintz is going to be missing time.

Calgary desperately wanted their organization involved in this year’s playoffs so, given their situation, she was assigned to the broadcast.

Her involvement is their Stanley Cup.

Go Shelbyville.

Bouchard is an absolute leader on defence. Complete beast.
It turns from flawed top pairing Dman in the regular season to an elite NHL Dman, historically good, in the playoffs. He's gonna get paid huge and deserve every cent of it, we'll just have to live with those regular season dips when he's half assing it because he's a big game player.

Same thing DeBoer said - if that was McDavid that took the slash, it would have been 5 minutes. I have no doubt Nurse will be in a fight next game. Hopefully though it's someone that's more useful to the Stars than the incompetent Has-Benn. In the meantime, fire up the wammmmmmbalence!!

We could have swept series 1-3 this year. Change my mind.
Daryl needs to pay some video editors, etc to make Ai montages of fake SNEt/ESPN shows talking about how the Oilrs are down 1-2 or 2-0 in the series and it will be an uphill climb. PLay that before every series starts

It was a stupid penalty by Nurse but this is the kind of thing that usually gets taken care of on the ice. Jamie Benn should challenge Nurse to a fight.
Sorry, but completely disagree. I haven't liked a lot of the dumb things Nurse has done in the past, but this action was spot on. Hinsz had been running around, acting tough, and just finished cross checking Nurse in the back. Nurse sent him and some of the other wannabe toughs a strong message - f*** around and find out. A comfortable 3 goal lead, with Skinner and a whole bunch of others on their game and not a ton of time left. Nurse was an absolute stud last night.

Benn-Nurse should be a pretty even tilt. I think that our level of physicality could be better than it has been to start this series. If Dallas decides to make it a war then I'm hoping that Kane and Frederic are fleet of foot enough to start to really hammer guys on the forecheck.

Someone should ask DeBoer why Benn wasn't given a 5 minute major for connecting on a wild swing to an unsuspecting Scheifle. Or why McDavid doesn't draw an extra 6 penalties a game for being hacked, tripped, grabbed, chopped, interferred with etc, because he's "Connor McDavid" and just so much better than everyone else, and the Oilers would be on the PP for half the game.
A sucker punch with his glove haha, then pretends he feels for Schief's personal loss at the end of the series, Hang em' up you sneaky old fart your playing days and respect are over

Nurse was great but I didn't like that play much because of the meltdown the previous game. I must've missed the Hintz crosscheck or didn't think it was overly bad. That said, you mess with the bull, you get the horns.

Trouble for Dallas and Vegas is they have, had several players not going, not doing anything. For the Stars thats been Robertson, Hintz(in last 6 games doing nothing) Rantanen, Duchene, Dadonov(never does anything) Johnstone. who is lol -15 in the playoffs. So bad he should probably be benched.

An old and small Granlund is being arguably the best Stars player. That should be shameful for their roster. Similarly Vegas best player was Karlsson.

Doesn't matter who your energy guys are if your top players aren't bringing anything. For Dallas its been Sequin and Granlund their best forwards.

The real problem in Dallas is Robertson and Hintz after starring roles have really gravitated to be far lesser players. Jonhson has fallen off the map. I still wonder how Dadonov is in that lineup for years. what a dud.
Dud-anov reminds of the other Ruskie on the Knights. Dorothy-ev.

It's a long series. Sometimes, you need to send a message for the long game. And I think it was sent - loud and clear.

He was unfairly blamed and dogpiled by not only the media but hordes of idiots all season. The metrics always favored Bouchard.

I’m sorry, but this has to be a joke that you think he’s lucky to not get suspended for a light slash to the shin pads.

He’s battling infront of the net, unless you prefer the bus stop crew to come back

You're kidding, right? It was a pretty nasty slash and quite frankly idiotic slash, if it was done to McDavid you'd be crying bloody murder. You can battle without slashing at the leg. Not saying he should have been suspended but he could have been.
