Post-Game Talk: Skinner Does Dallas

Refs are probably more concerned with the on-ice stuff. Like they pretty obviously hated Keefe because he would scream at them endlessly from the bench.
I think Knoblauch is very frustrated by the officiating overall, but he's unfortunately used to the reality, so he keeps a even keel so the team keeps and even keel and just plays through it.

It's actually very impressive the way they just play through it.

So Tanev to Ceci is working about as expected. You love to see it.

It’s forced them to be a pretty disciplined team over the years. It really reinforces the importance of discipline when we lose a game over it like game 1 too

I was in favour of switching Perry out for Arvidsson but if Dallas wants to turn this into a trench fight then we'll probably need the worm.

Dallas’ biggest downfall is they are the softest team in the league. The Oilers aren’t exactly the most physical team and every time we play Dallas it’s like we are the Broad Street Bullies. Very little jam in that team.

I think our team is tougher than given credit for, with the add of Kane, Walman, and Frederic.

It's also pretty clear to me that we were kind of avoiding contact and playing possum much of the year.

lol Marchment barking. This is a flopping diva. Also can be a cheap shot artist. Can;t stand his face.

What makes me optimistic about Ekholm is it seems like he would play if they let him. He must be feeling pretty good
Sometimes it's not a good thing. I played a decent-level soccer in my younger years. And I can attest that it is true that players often want to play when they are objectively not ready and should not be playing.

When it happens every game you just get used to it. Pretty obvious which teams never have to deal with it when you listen to the postgame whinefests these playoffs.
