Looks like it's becoming an annual tradition of reading McIlrath "is 2-3 years away."

Two or three years away from the NHL is not two to three years away from reaching his full physical potential.

The only current Rangers player/prospect to have a higher PPG in his freshman year in the NCAA than Nieves was Derek Stepan. Hopefully Boo can progress just like Step did his sophomore year when he became a 1.31 PPG player. If he does, he's going to be the most exciting prospect in our system.

For some reason, I had no idea MSC is 6 feet tall. Can't wait to see how he adjusts to the pro game. Our center depth (prospect wise) seems to be fantastic if these guys develop.. Miller, Lindberg, Nieves, St. Croix.. if all goes well we'll be set for years with Stepan and Brass as well.

Excited to see what Boo does in his 2nd year at Michigan.

Yes agree. He potentially could play first line minutes this season. Hope he improves his shot and takes more of them as well.
