We need a goal. There's a kid who has 2 points in 2 goals. The kid is not good enough to be one of the 6 forwards used.
We? Gross, lol

This guy is transformational.

His production is insane with his ice time and he's just levelling up every game now.

Pretty much every shift since he's come back from the insane benching has been a dazzling play, a goal, or near goal.

I don't see an actual threat to him winning the Calder next year. He will be a year older than any competition from this draft class. Celebrini won't be a rookie. Hagens ain't that type of 1OA.

No hating on my hometown team please
Hating on only one possible person bud,
Rottenburg.

*He* needs a goal.

Nothing personal against SKA or KHL at all
My favorite player all time is Fedorov
My all time favorite Hab is Kovalev
So please lol

But that Rottenburg character?
He can get hit by a bus for all I care.

Once again, I was not knocking Demidov….Fedorov is one of the best skaters this game has ever seen.

I'm just saying stylistically he reminds me of him without the world class skating.
Yeah if he had that speed he’d be a real threat to McD. If Demi can keep making gains with his top speed, he’ll be all but unstoppable.

But he's still fast, fastest player on the SKA.

He is not "fast" and is absolutely not the fastest player on SKA. His speed is NHL average at best which is fine as it can still improve but his edges are elite and that is what separates him from his peers. His processor is lightning fast and this further mitigates any shortcomings that he has as a north/south skater.

He leans too far over his skates and it is amazing how much body control he has with such an unbalanced stance. I suspect this makes him tough to defend as he makes cuts and pivots out of this stance that don't seem possible to defenders. I would like to see him a little more upright as it should result in improved speed and it will also allow him to protect/carry the puck on his hip a little better.
