Ska Versus Amur November 30th 2 30 AM

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
I actually wonder, if a skater gets dressed but never sees the ice, does it still count as a game played? Or is it discounted much like a backup goalie?
Pretty sure when it happened to Drouin he didn’t get the GP. I remember Kessel dressed and played one shift for his ironman streak when his child was born.

It's Rottenturd's call or he's the mouth piece for someone else higjer up who's taking that stance?
He’s a mere pawn for the league of evil hockey managers who got together for the sole purpose of controlling Demidov’s ice time.

Ironically, Michkov's "bad attitude" was great for his development. It got him out of SKA, and out of the KHL.

When does SKA's season end this year, and Demidov can come to Montreal? I'll definitely be rooting hard against SKA in the playoffs.
Michkov could have absolutely helped SKA offensively last season. The proof is how he’s playing in a better league right now. So Rottenberg was also playing games with Michkov.

Its Rottenturd, he has the keys to the palace as a political figurehead for Putin

The fact that SKA didn't like Michkov now only positively influences my view of Michkov.

Just trade him to another team..... He won't sign another contract in KHL ever.
Why trade him when you can punish him, bully him, and make him an example for others considering not signing?

I think it goes both ways. It alleviates some of the worries that might have been there about Michkov being an issue inside his own squad but also makes it a lot more understandable that teams who thought he'd be stuck in the KHL for another year were afraid. Imagine if Demi had another year of this lined up? This board would be losing its mind.

Good point!

yup, their actions are evidence of immaturity & pettiness. RUS losing one young star to the NHL last year probably motivated them to make sure Demidov mustn’t be a star in their league and then also be lost THE WORLDS BEST HOCKEY LEAGUE.

thanks to posters for the education of RUS political/hockey drama.

Well, practising with masters and learning from the bench is a great way to grow his game, right? RIGHT??

He's just 18 years old, is not a Gargarin cup winner and can be used as a golden substitute. One shift, one goal, and anybody who says the opposite has an american education and is doing foreign interference (Rottenturd newspeak for 'second guessing').

I’ll almost miss the guy next season, if only for the sheer delusion he puts out there for the whole hockey world to see. Sideshow Bob kinda shit.

Does 0 minute ''played'' count as 1 game played ?
Yes, it’s being on the active roster not playing 1 second that counts as a game played. It’s basically murder for personal stats and milestones.

Why would they suddenly treat Demidov fairly and let him leave the KHL with personal records? His stats will be cooked in a way that makes them useless.

SKA management really hates the kid and the fact that they cannot convince him to signed a new long contract wit them. I hope Demidov’s teamates don’t let him down.
