I could have been watching something more entertaining. Like the council meetings on public access television.
CSpan's ratings are increasing with Pens' demise. Coincidence?

I guess I'm one of the few that is happy to see them win tonight. The team is so bad that it will lose more than their fair share of the last 3/4 of the season, but Sully will likely not be canned unless they kick him upstairs.

Owen Pickering is everything we need on the blueline and nothing we don't. If he is the one who sits when Letang returns next game, I give up. Ryan Shea is hot garbage. I could not figure out what they see in this guy, until I read his bio and saw that Shea was born in Milton, Massachusetts. The mafia is a thing, folks.

If Beauvillier keeps this up, we might be able to get a mid-round pick for him. Good on him for turning things around.

This lineup looks way more interesting now because they have a third line that can actually be a threat to score. Puljujarvi and Poulin play well together. And O'Connor does not look out of place at center. Again, if he keeps playing like this, we might get something for him too.

We can ONLY win games if Jarry is not in goal. How are we ever going to be rid of that contract? We need to make a reverse-Dubois trade. I don't know if it is out there.

Not surprised Puustinen was scratched, but a bit surprised Graves sat. I don't think he is having a bad season. I don't want this to turn into a situation where he too becomes untradeable. If anything, he needs to play more not sit out.

Now, who is to blame for the consistent blown leads this season? MOST markets would blame the head coach. Not this market, though. Nope. It must be the players. It must be Dubas. I am sure if you asked the coach, he would blame Ponomarev for puck over glass.

Maybe one day, we will wake up and there will be accountability back in Penguins land.
