Why can't they just break up that top line... Its clearly the freaking problem and nobodys seeing it. Infuriating.
Is it me, or i feel like we are missing a Left Winger ?
Tatar-Danault-Gally
Byron/Leky-Domi-Suzuki
Drouin-KK-Armia
Cousins-Thompson-Weal
Meh players : Byron and Leky
These are the lines being run at practice according to the Habs website. Seems decent.
Tatar - Danault - Gallagher
Lehkonen - Domi - Suzuki
Drouin - Kotkaniemi - Cousins
Byron - Thompson - Weal
Mete- Weber
Kulak - Petry
Chiarot - Fleury
Reilly - Folin
Price
Kinkaid

Time to bring Poehling up and put Domi at LW.Is it me, or i feel like we are missing a Left Winger ?

And we really need a win because we are falling off last year's pace.
Yep. Lekh has 0 hands/offensive iq he cant follow with max and i feel its making max's motivation taking a drop since the start of this season. + its not the first time julien try to play them together and it never workedLehkonen still being with Domi at this point is just absurd. I like him on an energy/defensive line as much as the next guy but he can't be taking minutes on a line that's expected to be producing. Byron can at least score a goal here and there and should be on Domi's left.
Do we really have a top line? I know what you mean though, why Tatar Gally and Danno are untouchable ???Why can't they just break up that top line... Its clearly the freaking problem and nobodys seeing it. Infuriating.
Top line hasn't been fantastic but the great Phil Danault posted a couple last game and Gallagher and Tatar have both been chipping in. They are not really a top line on any decent team but they are on the Habs. Gotta live with that.
Well, they are the three best players by default (Danault is probably more like 6th best forward), they get the most ice-time, and Gally is the best forward, so Id say theyre the top line.Do we really have a top line? I know what you mean though, why Tatar Gally and Danno are untouchable ???
Clod gonna Clod.
I like the lines id hope to see the kk line get more ice than Danault's shutdown line in that instanceIts so obvious what they need to do
Tatar-Domi-Gallagher
Byron-Danault-Lekhonen
Drouin-Kotkaniemi-Suzuki
Cousins-Thompson-Weal
Further down the line
Poehling-Domi-gallagher
Tatar-Danault-Armia/Lekhonen
Drouin-Kotkaniemi-Suzuki
Cousins-Thompson-Lekhonen/Armia
Weal as extra
Fixes many problem the team has.
1) Byron is shipped out because he's redundant at this point and he still has good value
2) Gally isolates Domi defensively and Poehling isolates the two smaller ones on size
3)Danault is finally broken off Gallagher and he still gets to produce a good bit and play shutdown with Tatar and Armia or Lekhonen
4) It gives Domi wingers, fina-****ing-lee.
5) Makes an offensive line out of the third and it isolates Drouin defensively with two good defensive forwards (Although they are young.)
Right now, Danault is getting about 13 minutes of ES ice-time, its perfect.I like the lines id hope to see the kk line get more ice than Danault's shutdown line in that instance
Fair pointsRight now, Danault is getting about 13 minutes of ES ice-time, its perfect.
Its Thompson that gets too many ES minutes at 11:30 ish, he should be well under 10, like say 8 or 8:30. He'll get to about 12 of TOI with the PK and thats fine.
It allows the same minutes to be given to Danault, Domi and about a minute or a minute and a half more to KK.
Obviously, for that to happen, Clod should start trusting his first three lines a bit more defensively... But that probably won't happen.
Most stacked 3rd line in the league lol. Id like to see it. Claude would never put two rookies and Drouin on a line though. It would no doubt be Lehky slotting in to KKs right. Its so obvious what they need to do

Marleau could assist on all three goals if he'd like.Hoping for a win and a Timo Meier hat trick.
