Been impressed with Grier's rebuild work so far and think they'll be on the up and up sooner rather than later. Celebrini has that attention to detail that is going to make him a 2way force very soon. Lots of other promising young players in the system as well.

Out of all the bottom teams and bubble teams that will be there soon. I like their outlook more than most of them. Celebrini and Askarov are two solid building blocks.

The team just needs a franchise defenseman or a 2C. Based on what I've seen from Will Smith he should be on Celebrini's wing.

They play at different paces. They mesh well on the PP, or 6-on-5 or whatever, but Eklund seems to be the playmaker stapled to Celebrini's wing moving forward. Smith is viewed as the 2C (he's actually improved a lot since Granlund, who was the 2C, was traded)

They will most likely be drafting one of Schaefer, Misa, or Hagens in this years draft which would cover one of those spots you listed.
