Confirmed Trade: [SJS/ANA] Pavol Regenda for Justin Bailey

Anyone who thinks Regenda is a disappointment has an agenda.
For the benefit of Sharks fans, can you give us an overview of the player?

Bailey is big and really fast, but doesn’t have the brain or tools to be a regular NHLer. He could be a good F1 on a crash and bang line, but not much more than that.

Sorry, I was just trying to make a rhyme to be funny on the internet! Hopefully some can chime in with a substantive post for you!

Just wanted to say their pizza f***ing sucks.

When’s the last time you had ‘em? They did a survey where they discovered they actually were the worst tasting major chain, so they changed it up and.. they’re good now? Have been for like 5+ years, but it’s all ultimately personal taste. Pizza Hut was my #1, then somethin changed and everything was soggy crap all the time, and Domino’s was like “oh shit, on avg people rate our taste the worst- change everything!” And my reflections on pizza are still more interesting than this trade, so there you have it.

Followed Regenda a little when he first got into the league. Disappointed he wasn't able to get back on the pro roster. Hope this turns things around for him and he gets another shot in SJ.

From watching Regenda at the WC, I've been surprised he hasn't panned out as a pro. Huge frame and knows how to make use of it, big body presence around the net with a bit of touch. Also showed some knack for killing penalties with his great reach. Not super physical but will throw his weight around.

I think skating is the x factor, he just has some heavy boots and will never be more than a borderline NHL skater. I was hoping everything else would come together in order to make him a big body bottom sixer. The Ducks haven't given him much NHL opportunity and it seems he's regressed a bit this year in the AHL.
